COVID-19 Update 4-16-20
At this time we are still planning on moving ahead with the Blue Tip Festival. Due to the recent situation we continue to struggle on what is in the best interest for our community. We are planning on making a final decision the week of May 11th, 2020 on whether to continue to plan ahead or make that very difficult decision to cancel. Please check back with us at that time for updated information. COVID-19 Update
For the past 47 years, the Blue Tip Committee has presented our annual Blue Tip Festival on the first Tuesday after Father’s Day. The committee has been closely watching this historic pandemic and its potential effect on our ability to safely put on the festival which is scheduled in less than 90 days from today. Unfortunately at this time we just do not know what the situation will be. We wanted everyone to know that we are continuing to make the arrangements and doing what work we can do to get the festival, the parade, and the race ready for June 23, 2020. We are hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst. We will update you with information when it becomes available.
Potential parade participants: If you would like to guarantee your spot in the Bluetip Parade scheduled for June 23, 2020 please do so on our website www.bluetipfestival.com. Given the current state of affairs with Covid-19, please DO NOT PAY THE APPLICATION FEE. Assuming that the parade is able to safely proceed, we will collect money a week before.

Need a lift for the Matchstick Challenge? The pick up location will be the lot behind the Crossroads Community Church / Sub Station building. We are looking forward to seeing all of you runners!
